Designmuseum Danmark inspires creativity and celebrates Danish design through engaging exhibitions and hands-on workshops. After a major renovation, it reopened in 2022, blending modern design with its rich heritage while continuing to foster innovation in the design world.

  • Closed for 18 months due to extensive renovations, the museum needed to maintain engagement and build anticipation for its upcoming exhibition The Future is Present, all while the physical space remained inaccessible.

  • Partnering with Stupid Studio, the museum activated its iconic glass montres in the courtyard to spark curiosity while the galleries were closed. Three open-ended installations posed provocative questions across themes of humanity, society, and the planet. Inviting visitors to pause, reflect, and imagine futures not yet here. Each montre explored a question without offering answers:

→ Do all future humans have a mother?
→ Who knows you better — your loved ones or your data?
→ Should we stay or should we go?

Three questions. No answers. Just a gentle provocation to look forward and inward.
