Designmuseum Danmark inspires creativity and celebrates Danish design through engaging exhibitions and hands-on workshops. After a major renovation, it reopened in 2022, blending modern design with its rich heritage while continuing to foster innovation in the design world.

  • Closed for 18 months due to extensive renovations, the museum needed to maintain engagement and build anticipation for its upcoming exhibition, The Future is Present — all while the physical space was inaccessible.

  • Partnering with Stupid Studio, the museum activated its iconic glass montres in the courtyard to spark curiosity while the galleries were closed. Three open-ended installations posed provocative questions across themes of humanity, society, and the planet — inviting visitors to pause, reflect, and imagine futures not yet here. Each montre explored a question without offering answers:

→ Do all future humans have a mother?
→ Who knows you better — your loved ones or your data?
→ Should we stay or should we go?

Three questions. No answers. Just a gentle provocation to look forward — and inward.
